Dining

DINE. DESSERT. JAZZ.

Stonnington is brimming with dinning options, we’ve teamed up with these local businesses to bring you some exceptional dinning experiences to accompany the festival.  Enjoy!

Sagra

256-258 Glenferrie Road, Malvern

In the lead up to Stonnington Jazz festival join us at Sagra. For the perfect mid-week escape appreciate a genuine jazz experience while enjoying modern Italian dining.  Fortnightly from Wednesday 10 April Orlando Combo will be preforming smooth jazz tunes, while you dine in style.

Sagra’s roots are decades deep: born into an Italian deli, Ross experienced a microcosm of Italian culture and cuisine with a little pocket of Italians, who settled in Brunswick, and Fitzroy.  Giorgio Chessari founded and operated the deli’s, and by his side, his son Ross learned about the business, the food, and most importantly learned about the people.  These memories fuelled a fire, which Ross used to create and build Sagra.

Of course, no Italian experience would be complete without a celebration, and Sagra caters for this with its many spaces, including a rooftop bar and mezzanine that host weddings, engagements, birthdays, christenings, business promotions, and more.

Sagra was opened in Malvern with the ambition that if anyone wants an Italian experience, but doesn’t want to go into the CBD, then Sagra will delight them, with an experience that will make them feel like they’ve just found the cheapest ticket to Italy.
