Winner of the 2010 National Jazz Awards at Wangaratta, trumpeter Eamon McNelis is featured in Bopstretch alongside Phil Noy (saxophone), Ben Hauptmann (guitar), Mark Elton (bass) and Raj Jayaweera (drums). Led by bassist-composer Leigh Barker, The New Sheiks is a hard-swinging combo, featuring Eamon McNelis (trumpet), Don Stewart (trombone), Anthony Schulz (piano and accordion) and Al Kerr (drums), plus guest vocalist Heather Stewart.
